There are no contracts for residential customers. If you are one of our residential customers, you can cancel service at any time. Please note that if you decide to resume poop scooping services after 2+ weeks without a clean up, you will be charged the initial $75 cleaning fee again before resuming weekly scooping services.
No, it is not required that you be home during service as long as we have access to the yard through a gate. However, for the first service we would love to meet with you and your dog so that we can all get acquainted as well as discuss your yard and the service. If you are not going to be home it is important to provide us with any key or gate access so that we can properly enter the yard to complete your cleaning. If we arrive for our scheduled service and cannot access the yard or get ahold of you, charges will still be applied.
We LOVE dogs! If we have been introduced to the dog(s) and they are friendly, we do not mind if they are in the yard. If your dog is known to be reactive toward strangers or has a history of aggression, they must remain inside while we are servicing the yard. If there is past aggression, we will need text confirmation from you that the dog is inside each service day before we enter the yard.
On the scheduled day of service, if dogs are left in the yard while you are not home and we have not met the dogs or they are known to be aggressive, Piney Poo Krew cannot provide services and the cleaning will then be skipped and charges will still apply. This is for the safety of our Krew member and your dog(s). We hope you understand.
Proper disposal is essential to environmental safety as dog poop is considered a hazardous material. In some areas, we will take the waste off your property and properly dispose of it with Waste Management. In other areas, we will double bag the waste and place it in each customer’s trash can or neatly on the side of their house.
Yes! We pride ourselves on providing a sanitary experience for all our clients. We make sure to thoroughly clean and sanitize our rake, bucket and shoes after every yard and we use a new bag to line our buckets every time. This helps to prevent cross contamination of possible diseases in dog poop – from yard to yard.
Your dog poops all year long, so we pick up all year long. Piney Poo Krews’ services are available in winter, spring, summer, and fall! There is no temperature too hot or too cold for our team.
Of course! You can easily adjust your service frequency or schedule in our customer portal or by contacting our customer service team.
Typically Krew members work rain or shine. However, in the chance there is severe weather such as extreme heat, flash flooding or lightning storms, we will either try our best to reschedule your service for another day in the week or skip that visit altogether and do double duty the following week on your designated service day. You will receive an email or text to notify you if we need to skip a service visit. If severe weather continues through the week, your service will resume on your next scheduled service date.

ARRIVAL NOTIFICATION
Committed to keeping you informed, we provide visit reminders and "on the way" texts before your service begins. While you don’t need to be home during our visit, we kindly ask for easy access to the cleaning areas and that any aggressive dogs are kept away. This guarantees a safe and hassle-free experience for all parties involved.

Clean
We thoroughly clean your yard by carefully walking the entire area, removing all visible pet waste with precision. After the initial cleanup, we conduct a detailed inspection of the property to ensure no waste has been missed — checking along fence lines, under shrubs, and in any hidden corners where waste might be overlooked. Our goal is to leave your yard clean, fresh, and safe for your pets and family to enjoy. Every visit is completed with a final sweep of the area, so you can have peace of mind knowing your yard is truly waste-free.

Disposal, & Disinfect
All waste will be bagged and placed into your trash receptacle. If a receptacle is unavailable, we will double-bag the waste and leave it near the gate for your convenience. All equipment and footwear used during cleanup are thoroughly sprayed with an organic, kennel-grade disinfectant. This precaution helps prevent the spread of germs and illness among dogs, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all pets.

Safe & secure
After each service, we’ll send you a confirmation text that includes a photo of your securely closed gate. This gives you peace of mind knowing your gate was properly latched after our visit. Your dog’s safety is a top priority, and by providing visual proof, we help ensure there's no risk of them slipping out unnoticed. We double-check every gate before leaving to make sure it’s fully closed and secure — just like we would at our own home.
